The computer games industry is a highly productive and complex industry. The market is growing, and it’s getting harder and harder to surprise gamers. In addition, it is quite difficult to predict gaming trends, and a product that was at the cutting edge of technology in its development phase can become obsolete as soon as it hits the market.
So publishers are cautious.
